I’m proud to celebrate five years with MSD, a journey that began during the unprecedented times of the COVID pandemic in 2020—a truly unique onboarding experience I’ll never forget!

Today, I serve as the Benelux Regulatory Affairs Lead at MSD Animal Health, where I have the privilege of guiding a talented and diverse team. Together, we oversee three critical areas for our local organization: Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and Quality.

Our Regulatory Affairs team manages submissions and lifecycle maintenance for approximately 100 licenses per country, ensuring timely packaging updates, accurate product information translations, successful launches, and compliant promotional material reviews.

In Pharmacovigilance, our dedicated points of contact safeguard product safety and efficacy by managing cases, monitoring counterfeit risks, and addressing quality complaints. Meanwhile, our Quality Lead—supported by the team—ensures adherence to Good Distribution Practices across all distribution channels.

I truly enjoy what I do, and while there are challenging days, those moments push me out of my comfort zone and help me grow. Some of my fondest memories come from participating in Development and Mentoring programs, which allowed me to connect with colleagues beyond the Benelux. Meeting new people and exchanging ideas in a trusted space always energizes me.

My journey at MSD has been one of growth. I moved quickly from Regulatory Affairs Manager to Lead: a transition made possible because MSD believed in me and gave me the opportunity to demonstrate my capabilities. Leadership isn’t always easy, and I’m still learning every day about people management and authentic leadership. Staying true to yourself while adapting to a changing world is key, and that challenge is something I embrace with conviction.

If I had to name my proudest achievement, it would be building such an amazing, high-performing team. Their collaboration, trust, and willingness to support each other (even beyond our immediate group) make me proud every single day. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and this adds value to our work and end customer.

Looking ahead, I believe it’s essential to uphold MSD’s values, especially the connection between Human Health and Animal Health. This synergy fosters inclusion, diversity, and cross-pollination of ideas, which drives innovation and growth. Every time I reach out to new colleagues within MSD Human Health or MSD Animal Health, I feel that spirit of collaboration and willingness to help. It’s something truly valuable that we must continue to nurture and celebrate.
