MSD employs over 550 people in Belgium, distributed across two sites, Ukkel and Woluwe, both in the Brussels region.

MSD (Merck Sharp & Dohme) bv, based in Ukkel, is the Belgian subsidiary of the American company Merck & Co., Inc., and its activities include medical research and the marketing and sale of drugs for human use, intended for the Belgian and Luxembourg markets.
MSD (EUROPE), INC.
This Merck & Co., Inc. site, based in Woluwe, operates at an international level. Its activities include IT management for the region of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, implementation of clinical trials (Phase I), processing of clinical trial data, clinical trial audits, internal audits, the registration of our drugs at a European level, and maintenance of relationships with the European authorities.
