Clinical Development in Belgium

MSD is performing a significant number of studies in Belgium. Overall, the regulatory environment is favorable towards clinical studies. Currently (Mid 2011) MSD is working with over 450 clinical investigators in more than 60 studies in late drug development. In addition, and as a result of partnership through supporting investigator-initiated original research and conducting development studies in Belgium, approximately 80 % of MSD First in Human studies are performed in Belgium
